the smart mama empire

Alexander the Great, Napaleon, Genghis Khan...smartmama? No, really I am not that power crazed- but I do have high hopes for the smart mama empire-- which will one day extend to all corners of the earth (LOL)- actually I am only expanding the little smart mama kingdom slightly to create a recipe archive because invariably people ask you for them and you wind up typing them out multiple times- so to save myself the work I am just going to start archiving them here for all the world (okay mainly myself)! Here are it's meager beginnings!

ps cathy this saved me sending you the cinnamon roll recipe!

I am honored to be mentioned on your blog. Does this mean
I'm disqualified from the art drawing?
Thanks for the recipe blog. Dinner at our house is getting boring.

LL- think of this as muckamuck's lowly illegitimate cousin- seriously it will never compare with your recipe mecca

Yum.,yum..this will be so fun to check. I just wish I was your next door neighbor and could accidentally stop by when I smell the cinnamon rolls cooking. I used to make them when I had a crowd living here...It would be very bad to make them for Greg and I...we would eat them all and then have to go to counseling. But one big warm one with oddles of frosting would be oooooooooooh so good.

I saw your grandma today..took her her favortie cookies for Mother's Day. She was having a hard day and they weren't sure all that was going on. It is hard to get old and watch people get old.....she is so dear to me. I have her picture in my family room. I gave her one of me so she know's I think of her everyday even if I can't be there. Your mom and aunt Dawn are beyond fabulous daughters. I am so impressed with the love and care they give their mother. What an example to all of us. I can only hope my kids will love me that much. Your grammy has lived a good, long life. I know she is so proud of you and your family. You are an amazing girl.
Happy Mother's Day...you ROCK.
