yes i am still here

I know I said I wouldn't be blogging while my mom was here and I was fully utilizing my every moment of assistance straightening closets and redoing my basement food storage shelves etc. But things have just been complicated lately. My car broke down, one of my husbands sisters passed away unexpectedly last week so he has been away for the services, and smart baby has been demonstrating his amazing 22 mo old skills at opening everything childproofed-my home does not have enough high surfaces to keep everything i need to out of reach- I have to worry about him pulling chairs, climbing, plugging in dangerous appliances, spraying furniture with cleaners, etc - so I have been attempted to keep the the house in a state of semi order, get some projects done, drs and dentist appointments, etc. anyway thanks for your patience

I'm sorry about your sil, too :(

On another note, I have never had a chance to see your artwork. I just looked at your gallery and I'm in love with your abstract work, as well as some of the botanical paintings. Very nice work!

So glad to have heard from you. That is so great about smart son... he must get that from smart mama!

My son is going to be in a special accelerated program sponsored by ASU. Master students and professors have developed the program... it's really exciting! I just don't want him to be bored! I'll post more about it later.

About Smart Baby, I am always wishing I could hang things from the ceiling.

Les, it was good to hear from you. I hope that things are going better on the home front. I would LOVE to trade with you! I LOVE your paintings . . . maybe I could afford a 4x5 LOL!! :) I love your work. Tell me what you had in mind.

Condolences for the loss of your sister in law. I hope your life settles down soon, I just wanted to say that I can SO relate to a toddler who is continually expanding his reach and potential for destruction. My husband and I often say to each other, "no place is sacred anymore!" as he can reach into all the drawers, climb onto almost all of the counters even up the bookshelves...it's like living with a monkey!
