to answer your question...

I survived the first morning. Everyone came, stayed awake, and even drew varied interpretations of new testament pie in their seminary journal books. I will admit to lying on the studio room floor after getting #1 on the bus, feeling like I wanted to throw up, my eyes burning, and my body stiff and achy. I then gave in and took a nap while#3 slept. Here is the seminary setup at La Casa de Smartmama-6am- takers? takers?
1. nice students 2.naps 3.1 down 163 mornings to go~

Addendum: Look what just arrived!! A basket of seminary survival joy from my dear friend Sister Lewis- complete with a sympathy card- bringing comfort, peace, and hope for my hour of need. Don't you wish you were teaching seminary too! It's so beautiful I can hardly break into it!
This calls for another thankful 3~
1. seriously nice friends 2. basket o'fun
3. breakfast tomorrow~

  2. I'm glad you got a nap in. I love the small size of your class - one year I was in an early-early morning sem class and there were only 5 of us. I think I learned more that year than any other.

What a good friend to send you a survival basket. I think you may need it this first week!

  8. Nothing like a fun basket to give one moral support. The set up looks great, A small group can offer so many different things.....Good luck. At least you can't havetoo many boys rough housing on your floor. xoxox

  14. Way to think positive! Hopefully the sick feeling will go away soon. BTW I love the pictures! The one with the road is my favorite. I love it when a picture draws you in and takes you to other places. Which is exactly what the kids will be doing. Such a cozy little spot to learn.

  15. I think what you are missing is all those good breakfasts that your Mother made for you when you were attending early morning seminary! Wish I was there and could deliver them to you each morning....that might get rid of the morning yucks! On my next trip up there, I will promise to provide breakfast on Seminary mornings for you!
