addendum- I was just reading to him on the floor and told him I was getting all the "grouchies" out of him today, to which he responded, "But mom I have a whole load of grouchy fertilizer stored in my garage and a spreader to spread it with!" Oh where oh where does he come up with these things?)

Are you sure he isn't twins? Good attitude, Mommy!
ReplyDeletethat's the beautiful irony of motherhood. that's ALSO why God makes those guys so cute! It's a natural line of defense. But what's not to love?! And thank goodness he's not twins! Don't know how moms of twin boys get to retirement without being arrested.
ReplyDeleteAs a mother, I have a special love and patience for my own kids that's why God gave them to me. That's what I have to remind myself when mine are pushing all the buttons.
ReplyDeleteNever ever ever let him meet Campbell. He's totally my kid that does every. single. thing. I was SO proud none of my other kids had ever done.
ReplyDeletei don't believe a word of it..ss#2 is as good as they get.
ReplyDeletewe love that funny little guy...he keeps us quite entertained!
Wow, what a quote! Too funny! That pic. is just perfect. Today at the park there was a little guy with a shirt with one of those Misters on it (you know those books- Little Miss Giggles, etc.). His read, "Mr. Mischevious". Goes nicely with the picture you posted. I'm sure he'll get a kick out of reading your blog when he is older.
ReplyDeleteGosh he really is smart! Lol! That is a pretty clever response.
ReplyDeletei think we have a bag of that fertilizer with #2 at our house too. maybe it's a good thing we haven't managed to get them together since they were both 2 months old :)
ReplyDeleteOh smart mama - I sit here sympathizing with you. My 2nd is SO similar. Good thing they are so stinkin' cute.
ReplyDeleteIt turns out I have a huge load of grouchies too.
ReplyDeleteand he's going to fertilize with his grouchies? What a funny thing to say!
He's a stand-up comedian in the making! Kids are hilarious :D
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed that you have the sanity left to post about it, I admire you!
