you know you are a grown up when...

you willfully spend $200 and a Saturday to spread mulch around your beds.
(that is a whole truckload- looks so measly on the driveway)

what do you do that makes you feel grown up?

Let's see...managing Easter and Christmas instead of just sitting back and letting the adults do it reminds me that I am supposedly ONE of the adults.

When my shopping cart has hair dye, tucks and fiber tablets in it. Mulching is the way more fun way to feel grown up!

I like Nettie's comments! I have to say, that I am waiting til I feel grownup...it hasn't happened yet. Although, I am moving far from home in about two months from my family and all my friends ....with just the hubby and three small kids...guess I have to grow up pretty quickly, no?

I feel grown up when I am sick or emotionally drained and need to crawl into my mom's lap and say "hold me". Instead...I have 3 kiddos doing that to me.

Christmas makes me feel like a grown up too. I still want to come down the stairs in the morning and see the tree for the first time with all the presents delivered by someone else.

And taxes!

I never felt completely like a grown up until we bought a mini-van and drove it to our dd's soccer games. That, and when I became the "Tooth Fairy". Sigh.

I don't wash my make up off at night. Then, the next morning, I look like I am ten years older!! That is how I feel grown up!! LOL!

taking three kids on an airplane by myself makes me feel grown up.

Do you remember how grown up we all felt that first night in our first apartment? It was like "where are the adults?" lol. How time flies.
